BALI DREAM YOGA RETREAT

During the retreat you will have free time to explore and partake in activities of your choice. There are so many amazing things to do on the beautiful island of Bali and below are some of our recommendations for adventure.
HOLY WATER TEMPLE: Experience a purification ritual at this holy spring water temple, where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification. The temple is dedicated to Vishnu, another Hindu god named for the supreme consciousness Narayana. A natural spring inside the main temple brings water to the purification baths, pools and carp ponds that surround the outer perimeter. The purification ritual is called Melukat and involves offerings, praying and dipping the head under the many water spouts in the different pools. This powerful ceremony is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and is part of the retreat itinerary.
PYRAMIDS OF CHI: Power of Pyramids + Power of People + Power of Sound = The Ultimate Sound Healing.
The Pyramids of Chi is an innovation to the world through the combination of Pyramid Power, Sacred Geometry, Polar Alignment, Ancient Sounds, and the ever-present magical energy of Bali. We will go as group to experience the powerful sound bath after the water temple. This is a powerful experience is included in the retreat itinerary.
THE ISTANA: Nestled in the serene landscapes of Uluwatu, Bali, The Istana Spa offers a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. Guests are invited to embark on a journey of tranquility as they indulge in the spa's luxurious amenities. The steam room envelops visitors in a comforting mist, promoting detoxification and soothing tired muscles. ULUWATU TEMPLE: The Balinese Hindu sea temple located in Uluwatu. This temple is regarded as one of the sad kahyangan and is dedicated to Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in his manifestation as Rudra. One of Bali's nine key directional temples and one of the most spectacular ones in the entire island, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 metres above sea level. As the sunsets we will experience the Kecak Dance. The synopsis goes that Sri Rama, the prince of the Ayodya kingdom was sent into exile by his father King Dasaratha following an evil trick by his stepmother Kaikeyi. Deep in a monkey forest, Rama is accompanied by his wife Sita and loyal younger brother Laksamana. The evil Rahwana, who had a crush on Sita, knew of this, and set out to kidnap her. The rescuing effort by the two brothers ensues with help from the monkey king Hanoman and his monkey troops. Rahwana eventually subdued, the two lovers are finally reunited right after the setting sun.
SURF: Bali is know for it's amazing surf and during our stay in Uluwatu there is the perfect beginner wave called “Baby Padang” right outfront of our hotel. This is the ideal place to learn how to surf and we can help organize surf lessons with trusted surf coaches. This is an option excursion and the price for a 2hr lesson including board is IDR 750,000 (appro $48usd).
Already a seasoned surfer, you’re in the right spot to also experience some of Uluwatus best waves. Paddle out from the hotel and surf main break Padang Padang, Impossibles and Bingin.
MASSAGE: Bali is the land of massages and spiritual healers. We have connected with some amazing local healers that will be available during our retreat for sessions. Prices between $25 - $50.
The hotels we will call home also offer a variety of massage options ranging from traditional Balinese to four hand massages. Prices between $10 - $30.
