LET’S GO TO THE SIARGAO ISLAND…

There are two options for international flights to the Philippines that will get you to Siargao Island. You can either fly to Manila or Cebu international airport. Below are details about both options.

MANILA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:

Book your flight to Manila International Airport (airport code MNL). Book your flight from Manila to Siargao Island (airport code IAO). Depending on your arrival time to Manila you may be able to connect to a flight directly to Siargao the same day. If not there are plenty of airport hotel options within 10 minutes taxi from the airport. You can look on Agoda.com or bookings.com for options. We recommend Savoy Hotel Manila.

For flights arriving into Manila, the main airlines are Cebu Pacific Air and Philippine Airlines.. Book a flight that arrives to Siargao Island on or before October 1st. * There is a minimum number of guests required to offer the retreat. Please do not book any travel until we confirm the retreat. Confirmation will be sent a minimum of 3 months prior to the start date of the retreat.

SIARGAO AIRPORT PICKUP:

We will arrange a driver to wait for you at the Siargao Airport Arrivals outside the small terminal building. He will be holding a sign that says your name. The airport is roughly a 40 min drive away.

DEPARTURE...

The last day of the retreat is the evening of May 30th. Room check-out is 11am on May 31st. Book a flight that departs Siargao on May 31st or if you plan to stay longer book a later departure date.

PASSPORT MUST BE VALID FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS AFTER YOUR DATE OF ARRIVAL.

VISA: You can enter the Philippines without a visa for an initial period of 30 days. You may also get a tourist visa from the Philippine Embassy in your country before you travel if you plan to stay longer than 30 days.

CURRENCY: Local currency is the Philippine peso. Please be advised that it is highly recommended to bring any cash you may need for your trip with you to the island. This can be drawn at the airport or done through any of the currency exchange companies in Manila. The only ATM on the island is a 15 min ride away. If you can get small bills this will be an added advantage as change can sometimes be an issue with smaller traders.
