100HR YIN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
BALI: NEW DATES COMING SOON
100-HOUR YIN YOGA TEACHER TRAINING IN BALI: PHYSICAL AND ENERGETICS
Yoga is a practice that is intended to align the practitioner with the subtle rhythms of nature. In the eastern worldview, these rhythms are poetically described as a constant interplay between Yang or Shakti, the moving, active, creative forces, and Yin or Shiva, the more still, receptive, quiet forces. Spiritual practice seeks to observe, learn, and balance these energies. Much of our world today is dominated by activity and speed which creates imbalance that manifest as chronic stress, burnout, and dis-ease, among other things. Before we are able to see how these energies arise in our experience, we must first learn to quiet the mind, come into stillness, and observe what is actually happening in the present.
Yin Yoga is a quiet, still practice that cultivates the capacity to see life as it’s happening in the present. When practiced skillfully, we begin to observe and understand the mental and physical patterning that either supports or works against well-being. This is a profound process and one that is much needed in our world today.
In this training, we won’t just learn techniques to teach an effective Yin Yoga class , we will seek to transform how we see and operate in the world, so that we don’t just become better yoga teachers but even more awake human beings. Our 100hrs will be spent in study, practice, and ceremony, with the intention of building community and opening to our true nature.
